"I can do it myself!!"

One of Zion's favorite things to say right now is, "I can do it myself." So, here he was trying to get his new shoes on. For those of you who don't know, Zion has special soles in his shoes that will help his feet, especially his right foot, to straighten out. His right foot is especially curved and our friend and physical therapist thinks these inserts will help immensely! So, he's only had these shoes for a few weeks now and he has to wear them all day long! Anyway, he likes dressing himself and climbing onto his chair at the dinner table himself and doing whatever he can all on his own!! It's really fun watching him try so hard to be so independent. He's growing up fast! (The hat Zion is wearing came all the way from Israel--his Pappy brought it home for him. Looks like he's getting ready to go fishing or something!:)

Zion is such a sweet and smart boy. It seems everytime I see him he has new found wealth of knowledge. You are a great mother Sara.

Sara and Shane,
I miss you guys so much. Thanks for keeping Jordan and I posted on the amazing things your children (and the both of you) are doing! It will be nice to come back home and see everyone in person, but for now Jordan and I are working hard studying and spending time with our friends and one another. I'll write back to you soon! Much love, hugs and kisses.

Zion proved he can do it himself when he expressed himself artistically with crayons in the bedroom :-) I love that story ...
