Sesquicentennial Celebration!!

Montgomery City had their first (and only EVER:) sesquicentennial celebration--for those who are unsure, that is 150 years! So, the whole town had a weekend full of fun!! They had a parade, all kinds of food vendors, and games and fun for kids! They had lots of little programs throughout the weekend as well--a trolley ride around the town telling the history, etc. The HHCC Missions team had the opportunity to set up a tent and sell hot dogs and cold drinks to raise some money for their mission trip to Haiti next spring! So, we went out to support them, watch the parade and have some fun! Here is Paige and Nana hanging out in the shade under the tent and watching the parade! It wasn't one of the hottest days of the summer, but it was nice to have some shade!!Zion liked watching the parade! He didn't really care about getting all the candy, but he got a bag full anyway! He sure liked the horses even though there were only three of them. The HHCC tent was set up right next to the ponies! The kids thought it was really cool!! However, the flies and smell were not all that attractive to customers, I hate to say... Zion sure liked riding the ponies though!! (He's not on it in this picture, obviously, but the bigger one in the middle of the picture is the one he rode!!)

I think your going to go into labor soon. You've gotten your burst of pre-labor energy. I can't believe all these updates. I'm so glad we got to hang out today, I miss you. Now we need to get our kids together.
PS Are you sure those were ponies? :)
