First Day Exploring a Little....

Most of you who would dare check our blog at this point probably already know that we are presently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. Shane arrived about a week ago, and the kids and I (along with some wonderful help--thanks to Aunt Katie and Aunt Lexy!) arrived just yesterday... We are somewhat settled, but still figuring out the time difference.... The city is absolutely gorgeous and SO FUN!! We did a little exploring today... Here are some pics......

Edinburgh, Scotland
Shane and Zion--posing while waiting at the stoplight to cross the street....

Maddox eventually got tired enough while we were exploring that he fell asleep... We are not quite on Scottish time yet!

This is the sign of the part of the University where Shane will study. We are SO proud of him!!!

And this is where that sign leads into.... Isn't it amazing?!!

Paige doing a little dance while standing in front of a beautiful, huge door....

Me standing inside one of the famous British red phone booths!

More sights of Scotland.....

Beautiful, old, huge buildings!.... Amazing!

A "Statue Lady." Yes, it's a real person, and the kids weren't too sure what to think of her!

And what would a day exploring in Scotland be without some bagpipes, right? I'll post a video later--they really did sound cool!

Thanks for checking our blog! Now that we have internet, we should be having regular posts of our time in Scotland!
