Sara, Day-to-Day.....

So, here is the more "specific" day-to-day grind for Sara..... typically, Paige sleeps in a little late, so Zion and Mommy get to hang out in the mornings. They eat breakfast together and play, water the flowers outside, and maybe catch Sesame Street. (Sara has an absolute charcoal black thumb, but she still enjoys trying to have plants and flowers.) The rest of the day goes with the flow. There is usually at least one weekly trip to Wal-Mart, which is one of Zion's favorite places to go. There is usually a weekly trip to the bank as well. Sara is working on getting a routine of getting up in the mornings to walk/run since she is in the beginning stages of training for a marathon. Sara has a new friend, Leslie from church, who has walked/ran several marathons and 1/2 marathons. The goal is to do the St. Louis marathon in April, 07. That gives Sara a good 8 months to train!! She is very excited about this opportunity!! Sara is involved in a few ministries at church right now. She sings on the worship team, helps in the nursery--and is currently helping to revise the entire nursery curriculum and set-up--she has been teaching Primary Church this month, and every Friday co-leads a women's Bible Study, which is one of her favorite things!! They have been studying "A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place" by Beth Moore--loving it and learning a TON!! One of Sara's least favorite things to do is clean--which you might see if you visit her house. So, cleaning usually gets pushed to the back burner until the grossness gets overwhelming.... (okay, that might be a bit of exaggeration, but not much...) Sara absolutely loves staying home w/ Zion and Paige and getting to watch them grow, encourage them to learn, and most of all to love on them all day long!! One year ago, Sara started taking classes at a local community college working toward her RN degree. She is taking her time and trying to not be stressed about it. She has enjoyed most of the time so far and as it gets more focused on the nursing stuff, she will like it more and more. Classes start up again soon for the fall semester! Well, that about sums up the day-to-day for Sara....

Sara, do you usually refer to yourself in the third person? It is probably all that selfless work you do for everyone else. I love you, Erin
