What Shane Is Really Up To......

Well, it seems like we talk about a lot of general things, but not too many specifics... So, we're going to have some more specific posts on our blog. How does that sound??.... Shane has had a busy summer!! He is finishing up 9 hours of masters work. Each class was a distance course. He traveled to Lincoln Seminary only two times and will go one more time before the summer officially ends. Usually he goes once a week!! The fall semester starts in a couple of weeks. Shane has also been busy putting together CE stuff at church. He loves to teach and does a wonderful job, for those of you who have not had the privilege of learning from him. He is teaching a Thesselonians class right now and has helped get two other classes up and running--How Christians Deal w/ Their Money and an apologetics class resembling the book Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. Shane leads worship every week at church as well. He will be preaching one Sunday soon (TBA). Another enormous project Shane worked on most of the spring and summer has been the CD, it has actually been a year in the making. We do all the recording at home in our basement. Some of it was done in the OCC dorms w/ Jordan and Alex too. It was nice to finally have the hours and hours and stress of all the work come to us in a sweet little package sealed w/ a bar code!!!! It is available for purchase for anyone interested--(info below on "The Band" post!!)... Shane did all the editing and a lot of the recording. We have been fortunate enough to have a good friend and amazing graphic arts designer, Ryan, who designed both of our CD's. We are all very excited about this CD. You should check it out!!!!.... Shane, though extremely busy, still has his priorities in line. While being the most wonderful daddy and husband, he finds time to accomplish all the things mentioned above. He and Zion are best buds, and Paige can't get enough of her daddy. Shane and Sara are more in love now than ever, and we continually talk about how great our life is!! The Lord has truly blessed us..... Well, that about sums it all up, I think. That's what Shane is really up to....
