Well, this year Halloween was interesting for us. We did find some costumes, no problem. Halloween is totally celebrated here in Scotland. (Maybe not quite as commercialized...) However, because we're smack in the middle of the city, and our particular apartment complex is small--we didn't have anywhere to actually go trick-or-treating. So, our plan was to dress up and head downstairs to Kenny's newspaper stand, and let the kids buy some candy. In fact, it was funny, because another customer asked us after seeing the kids dressed up, "You know you have to buy the candy in here, right?" So, here was our Halloween adventure....

Attempt #3... Adorable, huh?!!So, we had a fun Halloween! Interesting, but fun. The kids were good sports about it all--they're pretty amazing!

I love the costumes! That is so awesome that you all still go out of your way to 'make it happen' under any circumstance. Most of us would have said," there's nowhere to go..so we won't go..." What fun memories!
Nana and Pappy have saved special Halloween treats for them when they get here!!! Can't wait, see you soon!

I LOVE the two Buzz Lightyear's! And Paige is a sweet Dora. How fun that they were able to dress up and do some celebrating!!
Noah and Avery would have gone nuts if there would have seen these! They LOVE Toy Story, and Avery has a HUGE crush on Buzz Lightyear. They both actually have sets of pj's of Buzz and Woody. We bought them for Noah and soon realized that AJ wanted them too!
sarah, that's hilarious! we actually brought some dress up clothes with us, and so i originally only bought one buzz costume for zion and the dora for paige, and then we were just going to dress maddox up in something we already had... i mean, i don't know what i was thinking?? he was devastated when he didn't have a costume too!! he's just not my little baby anymore... growing up and having his OWN opinion these days!:) and we LOVED your all's costumes too!! we go back and forth between toy story and peter pan right now:)
