Last weekend we had (for the second weekend in a row) a garage sale--trying to get rid of some things we are done using, etc. Anyway, Zion and Paige were hanging outside with me, and it began to rain.... They thought it was fun sitting there in the light rain. This is how it started out.....
There was a current running at the end of our driveway. They had fun playing in it--trying to make things float, even themselves! Trying to stop up the current... It was SO FUN!!!!
Well, the temperature had cooled down immensely during all of this... So, when it got too cold, we headed inside to warm up!
Yes, Maddox is finally getting some hair!!!! After his bath, the other day, I put it in a mohawk (or "mo-hog" as Zion calls it). It actually stayed for a while! It was hilarious!...
And while he was patiently waiting for his brother and sister to get done bathing, here are some hilarious faces we caught of Maddox!....
Does it get any cuter??!!!.... While Maddox is incredibly laid back, he is also turning out to be somewhat dramatic!... And he is quite the communicator--screaming is his preferred way of talking these days... No, it's not a bad screaming, like crying or hurting or whatever... He's just talking, but making sure that we all hear him!... He still laughs and smiles more than any baby we know!... He's our precious, adorable baby!...

Sara,
This is probably going to be a huge surprise, but I wanted to leave you a comment instead of just lurk. I found you on Susie Schulte's blog and have loved reading and looking at your pictures. Your babies are beautiful and I'm so glad to see that you're doing well! I actually have a blog too: mandabether.blogspot.com. Come visit if you want! I'd love to keep up with you in this way!

Playing in the rain, how fun! Sarai actually romped around in the rain for the first time the other night and ended up drenched too. Oh to be a kid again :-)
Playing in the rain!!!!!!!! What a great mom you are! Your kids are having so much fun in life! I love it!
Love you, girl!
That's so cool! It looks like they had a ton of fun, and Maddox is priceless. I guess the reality is that my niece and nephews are just awesome. I'm so proud of you, guys!
These pics are fantastic! What fun that must have been playing in the rain!! Those are the best times in life, and it really puts things into perspective, doesn't it?! I also love Maddox's face (and hair) in those pics! ADORABLE!!
We love reading about you and your family too! Love those pictures of the kids playing in the rain!
i need to play in the rain again...i'm pretty sure i've got some pics of you and i playing in the rain, ses!! your kids are adorable and i can't wait to see you guys again...hopefully son!!!
One of my favorite things about summer is that you can play in the rain without (usually) freezing to death! Iris loves to do this as well - it looks like they had a great time!
Maddox is super cute, and I love the mohawk. I might be posting some mohawk pictures of my own soon...Lydia's hair has been spontaneously forming a little one just lately. I think it must mean she's secretly a fan of punk, but we'll have to see... maybe Maddox feels the same way??
You win the Great Momma award for this fun, fun day! It's so hard for me to let my kids do these fun things because all I can think of is the work in cleaning up afterwards but your kids looked like they had an INCREDIBLE time!
I love the pics. They look like they had a blast playing in the rain. I used to love doing this when I was little!
The Mohawk was adorable. His hair must be growing fast - the last time I saw him he didn't have that much.
I just want to hug and kiss all over them. Zion might object, but I know Paigey and Maddox would allow it!
lol~
